Project Description

Bala Cranberry Festival

October 13-15, 2017
3- Day Tour

The beautiful Muskoka Region of Ontario is a four-season vacation area, sprinkled with granite rock outcropping’s, dotted with numerous lakes and rivers and something interesting to see at every bend in the road. We want to visit during the harvesting of the cranberries, one of North America’s few native fruits. Cranberry cultivation is unique in Ontario and while they do grow wild throughout the province, there are only three producing cranberry farms in Ontario, the largest two located just outside of the wee town of Bala.  Experience demonstrations, crafters, vendors and shows at the Festival.  This tour is packed with fun and great food, and we’ll stay in Orillia, gateway to the Muskoka Region.
