Our trip to Iceland with Jolly Tours turned out to be one of our all-time favorite holidays. We chose to take this tour as it provided us with a stress-free way to visit all the important sights at the perfect time of year.   We were so impressed with all the modern hotels along our route, and all our meals were certainly worthy of praise. “

ICELAND….We speak from experience when we say, “there is no place else like it!”  It is the land of the Northern Lights and the Midnight Sun, a magical place that could have been plucked from a book of fairy tales, with its landscape dotted with volcanoes, waterfalls, glaciers, lava fields and fjords.

Don’t let the name fool you! Thanks to the warming effects of the Gulf Stream, Iceland enjoys a cool, temperate maritime climate with its warmest temperatures being had in the month of July. You will be warmly welcomed by Icelanders. They love to share their culture, and will make the extra efforts to ensure that your stay, much like the spectacular landscape, will never be forgotten.

Your journey starts with a relaxing two-night stay in Reykjavik before we travel the ring road highway around the entire island of Iceland.  From the city buzz of Reykjavik, the Gullfoss & Dettifoss waterfalls, the Eyjafjallajökull volcano, the Blue Lagoon, and a visit to top at Lake Jökulsárlón, where some of the spectacular scenes of the James Bond movie “Die Another Day” were filmed, this is a vacation packed with experiences not soon to be forgotten!

Jolly Tours last group adventure to Iceland was beyond spectacular.  The Jolly Tour Director described the experience as “a continual breathtaking experience; a place still “untouched” by mainstream tourism with authentic experiences and incredible people.  Looking at photos, a person would think that you visited 5 different countries with the diverse regions and landscapes”
