International Plowing Match & Rural Expo 2018

September 20 – 22, 2018

3 Days

This year we invite you to travel with us to the IPM 2018, which is being held in Pain Court, Chatham-Kent, Ontario. The counties have a rich history dating back to the days when Chatham began as a naval dockyard straddling the Thames River. During the 19th century, this area was part of the Underground Railroad and so today, Chatham-Kent is part of the African-Canadian Heritage Tour. Prior to 1998, there were 11 distinct townships that were amalgamated in 1998 to form the Municipality of Chatham -Kent. There are so many events, industrial mills, foundries, breweries and more that have shaped the area to what it is today, and the IPM event provides Chatham-Kent with an amazing opportunity to showcase themselves.

The IPM has always received national recognition and draws agriculturists from all parts of Ontario, as well as some of the best plowmen from around the world. With all the attractions and events at the IPM as well as the extensive exhibits at St. Jacob’s Farmers Market, there is something for everyone.
