Itinerary Details

DAY – Fri, Sept 29th, 2017 Depart Canada

DAY 2 – Sat, Sept 30th, 2017 Arrive Dublin

A Cead Mile Failte to the Emerald Isle is extended on arrival Dublin airport by your driver/guide before a short drive takes us to the Man ‘O War traditional Irish pub. Afterwards we travel on to our hotel to relax and unwind before an early dinner.

Dinner/Overnight—Culloden Estate & Spa, Belfast

DAY 3 – Sun, Oct 1st, 2017 Belfast & Giant’s Causeway

This morning we take the marine drive north past the “Green Glens of Antrim” to Ballycastle on the North Antrim Coast any visit the Giant’s Causeway. On our return to Belfast, enjoy panoramic tour followed by some free time to explore the city, followed by a special evening meal at a traditional Irish pub.

Dinner/Overnight— Culloden Estate & Spa, Belfast

DAY 4 – Mon, Oct 2nd, 2017 Enniskillen

After breakfast we make the drive west past Lough Neagh towards the lovely town of Enniskillen. We will have a guided tour of Florence Court, a beautiful 18th century manor house & one of the most important Georgian
houses in Ireland. Some free time as well to explore the fabulous gardens and trails.

Dinner/Overnight — Kilronan Castle, Roscommon

DAY 5 – Tues, Oct 3rd, 2017 Sligo & Yeats Country

Today we visit the Mass Rock and Holy Well at Tobernalt before travelling on to Mullaghmore for views of Donegal Bay. In the afternoon we visit Parke’s Castle on the shores of Lough Gill. After a guided tour we return to Kilronan Castle for some leisure time. After dinner, listen to some “tall tales” of Ireland in the Dungeon Bar.

DAY 6 – Wed,  Oct 4th, 2017 Westport & Connemara

Today we learn about the fascinating success story of Foxford Woollen Mills before heading to Westport on Clew Bay. We continue to Leenane on Killary Harbour, and enjoy a photo stop at Kylemore Abbey. Enjoy some Irish music tonight after dinner in the hotel bar.

Dinner/Overnight—Connemara Coast, Galway

DAY 7 – Thur, Oct 5th, 2017 Galway & Cliffs of Moher

We drive along the southern shores of Galway Bay via Ballyvaughan before traversing the Burren region of Clare. We view the mighty Cliffs of Moher that stretch for over 8 km above the Atlantic Ocean.

Dinner/Overnight—Malton Hotel, Killarney

DAY 8 – Fri, Oct 6th, 2017 Ring of Kerry

A leisurely tour around the Iveragh Peninsula reputed to be the most scenic 100-mile drive in Europe. Travel via Killorglin, Cahirciveen, Waterville on Ballinskelligs Bay and the quaint village of Sneem. Your evening is free to explore Killarney, always buzzing with events and festivals year round.

Overnight—Malton Hotel, Killarney

DAY 9 – Sat, Oct 7th, 2017 Blarney & Cork

Leaving Killarney for Waterford we travel over the Kerry Mountains to the village of Blarney. Enjoy a panoramic tour of Cork City including a stop in the English Market.

Dinner/Overnight—Faithlegg House/Granville Hotel, Waterford

DAY 10 – Sun, Oct 8th, 2017 Wexford & Wicklow

This morning we head towards the south-east county of Wexford. In New Ross you will follow in the footsteps of a group of Famine emigrants as you board a replica of the sailing vessel Dunbrody at the quayside. This afternoon, a visit to Powerscourt House—voted one of the Top Ten Houses and Mansions Worldwide. Free time this afternoon to relax & unwind.

Overnight—Powerscourt Hotel Hotel & Spa, Wicklow

DAY 11 – Mon, Oct 9th, 2017 Dublin’s ‘Fair City’

A guided panoramic tour of Dublin’s famous streets, squares, magnificent buildings and beautiful public parks. Next, a visit to the Old Jameson Distillery in Smithfield for a tasting and tour. This afternoon is free for shopping or exploring Dublin on your own. Tonight, dinner and Irish music at the famous Johnnie Fox’s.

Dinner/Overnight— Powerscourt Hotel Hotel & Spa, Wicklow

DAY 12 – Tues, Oct 10th, 2017 Tour Ends

Your tour ends after a final hearty Irish breakfast in your hotel & a transfer back to Dublin Airport for our flights home to Canada.
