QUÉBEC CITY

August 18-21, 2020

4 – Day Tour

While some of us both live and work near the St. Lawrence Seaway, we still enjoy the beautiful drive east or west when we are within sight of the St. Lawrence. We are connected to Quebec City by this amazing marine highway that we will follow and cross on our journey to and from Quebec City. We stay in the heart of this Upper Walled City for three nights giving you complete freedom and access independently as well as with this group, to explore this beautiful and enchanting Old City, brimming with history, arts, culture and entertainment.

It is more than just the only walled city north of Mexico! It is a city that is filled with warmth, romance and superb dining. It carries the mystique of the nineteenth century with all the modern luxuries of this the twenty-first century.  A great summer get-a-way!

Itinerary Details

Day 1 CORNWALL-QUÉBEC CITY

It is a leisurely drive today, arriving just outside of Quebec City for your independent lunch. Our step on guide will orientate and inform you this afternoon.  We stay at the Manoir Victoria Hotel for the next three nights which is located in the heart of the Upper Walled City. Look forward to a wonderful dinner this evening at Hotel Manoir Victoria. (D)

Day 2 QUÉBEC CITY

Explore and enjoy Quebec City independently with a historical visit to the Plains of Abraham and museum, or the lower City, Le Petit Champlain to enjoy the shops, cafes & the waterfront.  Just touring the streets of Old Quebec City, taking in the sights, sounds, shops and scrumptious eats, is a perfect day. Join included group excursion to Grosse-Ile, to visit a part of our history that people seem to know little about, that of over four million Irish Immigrants and their plight to survive and reach this new world. The past will come alive in this excursion.  (B, Boxed Lunch)

Day 3 QUÉBEC CITY

Join the included excursion to visit the Shrine of Sainte-Anne-De-Beaupre this morning, and enjoy lunch over-looking Montmorency Falls, the largest falls east of Niagara Falls. On our return to Quebec City, we will make a final stop on the old Beaupre Coast Road for a sample from an authentic 150 year old outdoor oven. (B)

Day 4 QUÉBEC CITY-CORNWALL.

This morning is at leisure to explore independently. Mid-day we depart for home by motor coach.  (B)
