This is the honeymoon capital of the world and more! Niagara Falls has become one of the hot spots for Hollywood film productions and this time of year the central point for the growing Festival of Lights Celebration. What better way to get thinking about Christmas celebrations than the thousands of twinkling lights, scores of animated displays, and the famous Canadian and American Falls arrayed in Christmas colours?
The featured artists for this year are, Bobby Vinton, Elvis Impersonator Shawn Klush, and The Oak Ridge Boys. We’ve included a 4th show this year which is very special called “A Holly Jolly Christmas” at Oh Canada Eh!
DAY 1 Cornwall – Niagara Falls: It’s an easy paced day today as we head to Toronto area for lunch and then on to Niagara for an early check in at our hotel, Doubletree Fallsview Resort which is just down the street from the newer Fallsview Casino Niagara. Enjoy a great dinner right at the Doubletree before we leave for The Gale Centre, the venue for our first show this evening. Are you ready for hits like ROSES ARE RED, BLUE VELVET, MY MELODY OF LOVE & MR LONELY? This will be an exciting evening with entertainer Bobby Vinton. (D)
DAY 2: Enjoy full breakfast at our hotel this morning. A Holly Jolly Christmas with a fabulous meal plus our final show with The Oak Ridge Boys makes another fabulous day. What finer way to end this special day, than with a drive to Dufferin Island to see all the Christmas Animation, viewed from the comfort of our coach. (B,D)
DAY 3 Niagara Falls – Cornwall: Full breakfast again this morning. While you may not recognize the name Shawn Klush, you may recognize him from his star role as Elvis in the hit TV miniseries “Shake, Rattle & Roll” which aired on CBS. In just a few short years, he has become “the closest thing to the King in Concert” and he will be your entertainer this morning in concert. We’ll enjoy a great market lunch together before heading for home. Expected time of arrival in Cornwall will be early this evening . (B,L)
