NEW ENGLAND FALL FOLIAGE

Vermont – New Hampshire
October 11th – 13th, 2012
3 – Day Tour

The colors of fall are always a highlight. The turning of the leaves that splash the hillsides from greens to a beautiful arrangement of gold and browns and reds, make this a beautiful time of the year.

Day 1 Cornwall – North Conway: Crossing the border and heading into the of the state of New York our journey begins.  We’ll travel across the top part of Lake Champlain, one of the largest lakes in Eastern United States, and into Vermont for a lunch stop. Dessert at Ben and Jerry’s will be one of those delicious stops of life. North Conway will be our home for the next two nights, and of course we are right along side of the large outlet shops the area is known for. (D)

Day 2: Here is a real experience for you today! We’ll ride The Notch Train, classified as one of the premier scenic train rides, giving you the opportunity to enjoy some of the finest natural scenery in the east.  The rails take you through spectacular Crawford Notch, past sheer bluffs, steep ravines, cascading brooks and streams, allowing for fabulous panoramic mountain vistas.  Our motor coach will be waiting for the return journey, giving you a different view of the Washington Valley. Day 3 North Conway – Cornwall: The first part of our journey this day finds us driving along the Kancamagus Highway, noted as the prettiest drive in all of New Hampshire, as we make our way through part of the White Mountains.
