We thank you for your understanding and appreciate your business. May everyone remain safe and healthy!
As the Coronavirus (Covid-19) is a major topic of concern both in the travel industry and globally, we wanted to share some of the following considerations for current or future travellers of Jolly Tours.
As of March 13, 2020 our Canadian Government has issued the following Offical Global Travel Advisory “Avoid non-essential travel outside of Canada until further notice (Level 3).”
In response to this advisory, Jolly Tours has made the decision to suspend operations for all tour departures up to May 15, 2020. We will have answers and direction for everyone booked on tours during this period and we ask for your patience with our team while we navigate this evolving situation. We will be in touch with everyone affected on tours up to May 15, 2020 within the days to come. Our top priority is ensuring all our clients and team members currently in Travel are reached and returned home as soon as possible. As has always been our Company Mission, the Health and Safety of all persons is our top priority.
For the health and safety of our team, their families and you, we have to insist that if you are ill, feeling any flu like symptoms and / or are recently returned from being out of Country in Travel you do not enter our office. We can be reached at (613) 932-6753 and are still happy to assist you by phone in any way possible. If you have recently returned from Travelling, please adhere to the instructions of the Canadian Government as follows:
For travellers arriving in Canada:
The Government of Canada is closely monitoring the spread of COVID-19 in Canada and in other countries. You could have come into contact with COVID-19 while abroad.
Upon return to Canada:
Self-isolate for 14 days after your return from travel outside of Canada. Some provinces and territories may have specific recommendations for certain groups such as health care workers.
Monitor your health for fever, cough or difficulty breathing.
Wash your hands often for 20 seconds and cover your mouth and nose with your arm when coughing or sneezing.
If you develop a fever, cough or difficulty breathing within 14 days:
- Continue to isolate yourself from others
- Immediately call a health care professional or public health authority and:
- describe your symptoms and travel history
- follow their instructions carefully
In addition, if you return from Italy, Iran, or Hubei province (China) you will be asked to contact the public health authority in the province or territory where you live or are staying within 24 hours of arriving in Canada and to provide your contact information.

We would like to take a moment to thank everyone for their understanding and patience. We also want to thank our dedicated team for their hard work, going above and beyond during this time.
