Spring is a very beautiful time of year to visit Lancaster County Pennsylvania. Come and see for yourself and be inspired!
Neat, orderly, green & floral; words that describe Lancaster County, but do not say it all. Take a 90-minute dairy farm tour offering a high-tech view of farming, including a drive down the middle of the loafing barn, otherwise known as the cow palace. You will have a bird’s eye view of the milking merry-go-round. For those who wish to do so, there will be time for an optional silo observatory visit before lunch at Kreider Farm. We will visit The Tanger & Rockvale Shopping outlets as well as The Kitchen Kettle Village. This is a great gathering spot for shops, meals, and entertainment, and all part of the greater village of Intercourse. New this year will be a Tuesday visit to an Authentic Amish outdoor market.
See “MOSES” staged at The Sight & Sound Theatre. From the banks of the Nile River to the depths of the Red Sea, MOSES is a spectacular entertainment experience for the whole family! Enjoy a fascinating time with artist Elva Hurst, producing “Artist in an Hour” and “Chalk Talk”. We always look forward to a delightful experience with our local Amish Guide when she explains life and family in Lancaster County as we visit places in the countryside with her. Have you ever tried whoopee pies and shoo fly pie? They are heavenly morsels, and everyday table fare in Lancaster County! Not only is the
food good and plentiful, the family-style table setting makes for great conversation as well
