Norway boasts some of the most stunning landscapes in the world. With mountains that plunge into the sea from hundreds of meters above, fairytale fjords that will take your breath away, and the midnight sun, this itinerary is a once in a lifetime journey not to be missed. If the unsurpassed serenity of nature, wildlife and maybe a little Viking heritage is your interest, this is for you! Day 1 ♦ Sunday, June 4th
Canada – Oslo, Norway
Depart from Canada, on our overnight flight to Oslo. A light meal and breakfast will be served on board the flight.
Day 2 ♦ Monday, June 5th
Oslo – Lillehammer
Upon arrival in Oslo, we will collect our luggage and meet our motorcoach driver and local Tour Director and begin our journey! We are off to Lillehammer. The name may sound familiar to you, Lillehammer was host city of the 1994 Winter Olympics, and the 2016 Winter Youth Olympics. There is plenty of time to explore Oslo when we return, later in our adventure. (D)

Day 3 ♦ Tuesday, June 6th
Lillehammer – Lom – Geiranger
After breakfast, a scenic drive awaits you today as we make our way to Geiranger. A short stop will be made at Lomskyrkja, one of the most beautiful stave churches in Norway which dates back to 1158-1159 and is still the main church in Lom. Arriving in Geiranger later today, we will check in to our hotel which overlooks the stunning Geiranger Fjord. Join our group for an included dinner this evening. (B,D)

Day 4 ♦ Wednesday, June 7th
Geiranger – Briksdal – Leikanger
This morning you will board a mini cruise of the Geiranger Fjord which is a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is renowned for its impressive waterfalls and beautiful scenery. Following the cruise, we make our way to Briksdal Glacier which you will explore by motorized troll cars. The troll cars offer spectacular panoramic views.
This afternoon we make our way to Leikanger. Our hotel this evening is located on a peninsula checking out into Sognefjord, the longest and deepest fjord in Northern Europe. (B,D)

Day 5 ♦ Thursday, June 8th
Leikanger – Bergen
This morning we will take a ferry crossing from Kaupanger to Gudvangen and travelling on to Flåm where you will board one of the most exceptional railways in the world – Flåmsbana. With breathtaking views at every curve this train will take you up to the mountain station in Myrdal to catch the connecting train to Voss.
The last leg of today’s journey will be completed by motorcoach to Bergen, who’s many nicknames include ““The heart of the fjords”. Even though Bergen is the second-largest city in Norway, it has the vibe of a small town, packed with charm and urban character. (B)

Day 6 ♦ Friday, June 9th
Bergen
This morning will begin with a guided tour of Bergen. Stroll across Bryggen where traditional wooden medieval buildings from the Hanseatic League still remain and stop at the famous open-air fish market. This afternoon you will have free time to explore Bergen on our own. This evening we will be taking the Fløibanen Mountain Funicular to an included dinner at Floien Folkerestaurant (or similar) overlooking the city and surrounding fjords. (B,D)

Day 7 ♦ Saturday, June 10th
Bergen – Gol
This morning is a leisurely start, allowing for some free time in Bergen before we depart our hotel. Today our journey continues southward toward the remarkable Hardangerfjord with its romantic landscape of fruit orchards and dome shaped mountains. A photo stop will be made at the impressive Voringvoss Waterfall. Our destination this evening is Gol. Enjoy an included dinner again this evening. (B,D)

Day 8 ♦ Sunday, June 11th
Gol – Oslo
This morning we will make our way back to Oslo. We have explored 1,484 amazing kilometers of this stunning Country. Upon arrival in Olso, there will still be plenty of daylight left to start exploring! (B)

Day 9 ♦ Monday, June 12th
Oslo
This morning with explore Oslo with panoramic tour of the city. Highlights will include a walk through Frogner Park, a visit to the famous Karl Johan Shopping Street, the Akerhus Castle, Scandinavia’s St. Tropez and the Akershus Brygge connected to the fashionable area of Tjuvholmen. This afternoon is yours to explore on your own. Suggested highlights to include in your plans are, The Fram Museum, The Viking Ship Museum, and Vigeland Park. (B)

Day 10 ♦ Tuesday, June 13th
Oslo – Canada
Saying goodbye to the stunning country of Norway, we begin our journey home to Canada. (B)
