Tour participation details and policies outlines how things work on our tours. Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
More and more people react in varying degrees to perfume scents, please be sensitive to this concern and refrain from using when you will be travelling on a tour program. Kindly refrain from applying perfume, nail polish, lotions, or creams while on the motorcoach. Air conditioning system very quickly circulates the fragrance to all areas of the coach.
Subject to Federal & Provincial laws, smoking and drinking of alcoholic beverages are not permitted on the Motorcoach. Smokers may take advantage of the frequent stops. With most hotels and properties now only offering only non-smoking facilities and accommodations, smoking rooms cannot be accommodated. Please respect the areas that you may be visiting during the tour and their specific smoking policies.
Seats may not be reserved on the Motorcoach; they are first come, first served. A rotation system is used whereby you change seats at the discretion of your Tour Director on overnight and multiple day tours. * NOTE, for 2021 & 2022 tours, Seat rotations will not be accommodated or permitted to ensure proper sanitization and social distancing as required, is maintained*
Many motorcoaches now are outfitted with seat belts both in Canada and internationally. When seat belts are available on a motorcoach it is the law, they must be worn. This is in keeping with the same requirement you have in your own vehicle to wear your seatbelt.
One standard size suitcase per person on all multi-day tours. Maximum weight being 50 lbs. per suitcase. When itineraries include airlines and cruise lines, the luggage requirements by both shall prevail and will be noted on your itinerary details.
Carry-on luggage is the passenger’s sole responsibility. Carry-on luggage should be lightweight and easy to store inside the coach in the compartments over the seat. Most wheeled carryon’s do not fit within the luggage compartments overhead on the motorcoach and will have to remain at your feet.
*NOTE for the duration of tour itineraries in 2021 into 2022 neither the Motorcoach driver nor the Tour Director is permitted to handle or assist you with your luggage being put into or taken out of the luggage compartments under the motorcoach. Ensure your luggage is lightweight and you can easily handle and maneuver your own luggage.
Where noted in the inclusions, our tours provide the services of an experienced Tour Director or Tour Manager.
Your Tour Director and Driver play an important role in making your vacation as memorable and hassle free as possible. While optional, gratuities are a great way to show your appreciation. This should be extended on a voluntary basis at the completion of your tour. The suggested industry guideline is $4.00 to $6.00 per person, per day for your Tour Director as well as your Driver. This should be extended on a voluntary and individual basis at the completion of the tour. Cruise Staff – If you are travelling on a cruise ship you will be charged a rate per person per day in U.S. dollars to your ship account for onboard gratuities. On many itineraries, Jolly Tours includes this. Please refer to the individual inclusions under the Tour you are joining for details.
